An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Estates Team of Property Services for a bright and ambitious individual to join as an Estates Surveyor. The successful applicant will be responsible for dealing with estate management matters, Landlord and Tenant negotiations, asset management and generally supporting the work of the Estate Manager and Valuation Surveyor. The work will also involve valuation of the Councils property portfolio for financial reporting purposes.
- A relevant property degree
- Membership of or commitment to work towards membership of RICS (MRICS)
- A good understanding of Landlord and Tenant legislation
- An understanding of the requirements and process of undertaking local authority asset valuations for financial statements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
