We have two vacancies for September 2023;
1. Do you have a good level of ability in swimming, or experience in coaching swimming? National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable or,

2. Are you a qualified fitness instructor, or have a real passion and ability in this field? Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing is desirable.

Are you considering PE teaching, sports coaching or working in a sports-related role with young people and want to develop your skills and ‘test the waters’? Or perhaps you are considering a year off to try something completely different

This one-year residential post provides valuable support to our PE and Games department, classroom learning and boarding houses, as well as an exciting and ideal opportunity for graduates who are considering a career in education to experience a year in the life of our vibrant and successful school. On a daily basis, you will also be supporting the House Team to ensure the pastoral welfare of all boarders and day students.

We aim to offer our Resident Graduates a memorable year working with energetic and inspiring students within a co-educational environment. The School will provide accommodation throughout the year and free board courtesy of our onsite restaurant, Oakview during term time. You will also have access to a gym and swimming pool on site, and in this paid role you will also have opportunities for continuing your professional development, training and coaching qualifications.

This experience provides a platform for various career progression paths. At the end of your residency, you will have achieved positive results both personally and professionally and you will have developed skills and experience of considerable value - particularly if you decide to continue your career in teaching.

**Salary**: £14,000 per annum, with free accommodation throughout the year and free board during term time.
