Rewind Slitter/digital Finisher

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the role will entail working as part of a team to ensure products leaving our site are of the highest standard and meet customer requirements.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Operating a high speed slitting machine & digital finisher.
- Reading works orders and production schedules
- Challenging machine speeds and monitoring scrap and set-up’s
- Highlighting any QC issues to the Shift Manager
- Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and products are labelled up correctly
- Ensuring all standard operating procedures are adhered to and reporting any safety incidents
- Completing daily inspections of your machine and reporting any potential maintenance issues to the Shift Manager
- Manual handling
- Ensuring effective shift handover is carried out

**What we are looking for**:

- Previous experience of operating a slitting/finishing machine or working within the industry is desirable
- Excellent communication & numerical skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to manage and deal with change in a fast moving and demanding environment whilst still maintaining standards set within the business
- Good attendance and time-keeping

Hours: Two Shift Systems**
- Morning shift - 6am-2pm Mon-Thursday, 6am - 1pm Friday
- Afternoon shift - 2pm-10.30pm Mon-Thursday, 1pm-5.30pm Friday
- **Job type**:Full time, permanent, 39 hours per week with the option of overtime
