Motor Warranty Claims Engineer

We have a great opportunity for someone currently working within the motor industry OR who has technical knowledge of motor vehicles, who would like to move away from doing a hands on role within a car garage/dealership, and move their knowledge of motorvehicles into a Monday to Friday office role, with great career prospects.

Our client is looking to recruit a Motor Warranty Claims Engineer to join their team.

Responsible on a day-to-day basis for the assessment, costing and

authorisation or rejection of claims. This role involves dealing with policy

holders, dealers, and repairers primarily over the telephone, ensuring all

queries are dealt with in a timely manner. They are also required to carry

out any other administration duties to contribute to the day to day running

of the department.

To assess each incoming claim and ensure it is either authorised or rejected as per the policy terms and conditions. The outcome needs to be logged onto the system, along with any notes relevant to the claim.

**Must haves -**

**The ideal person will have worked in a similar role before OR have good technical knowledge of motor vehicles**

**Excellent Customer Service Skills**

**Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook**

**Ability to make decisions fast under pressure
