This is an excellent and rare opportunity for an outstanding DBS & Safeguarding Coordinator to join our friendly and experienced team on a full-time and permanent basis (35 hours per week).

We provide comprehensive high-quality safeguarding support to our diocesan staff, clergy and parishes. The primary purpose of the role is to manage and administer the DBS process on behalf of the Guildford Diocesan Board of Finance in line with the Government’s and National Church of England’s guidance, to manage the administration of safeguarding training and policy compliance and to provide administrative support to the safeguarding team.

The role is busy, varied and challenging.

If you have relevant safeguarding experience particularly within a professional environment such as legal services or a large charity/public sector organisation, we would love to hear from you.
