Our Shift Millers ensure that the site’s milling operations are both running effectively and efficiently while producing our products to the highest possible standard. We are a relatively small team so teamwork and being able to think on your feet is a must. We work a rotating shift pattern which includes some days, nights and weekend working.

In terms of role itself, the main duties include:

- Maximising the performance of the mill to ensure the best quality products.
- Ensuring compliance with Company and statutory legislation such as Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, BRC and Product Safety (HACCP).
- Reviewing testing and quality information to ensure our products meet specification.
- Liaising with colleagues to ensure processes and procedures are followed.
- Understanding processes, standards and systems.
- Working with others to ensure KPI’s are met.
- Dealing with outages and breakdowns.
- Out of hours accountability for all areas on site.
