Xenia Estates are a vibrant and energetic Property Management company with a clear passion for their brands. Consisting of multiple businesses, this well-established property group specialises in Residential and Student Block, Estate and Asset Management operating throughout the country.

They are seeking a Compliance Assistant who is looking to progress and excel in their career within a fast-growing organisation.

With the help of the Compliance & Risk Manager, you will manage day to day issues and contractors across the sites, ensuring adherence with company standards and health and safety guidelines.

Experience & Qualifications:

- Working with on-site teams, managing workloads and projects
- IRPM (or working towards)
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems such as Qube
- Experience in Major Works, Section 20 consultations, Fire Safety Works and cladding issues
- Knowledge of ARMA guidelines and requirements

**Duties**:

- Prior Experience working within a Compliance/Health & Safety Team would be advantageous
- Broad understanding of the “Big Six” Compliance Areas - Asbestos Management, Electrical Safety, Fire Safety Active -Passive, Gas Safety, Lift (LOLER) & Water Safety in relation to Block Management
- Basic Understanding of the accompanying Legislation and Statutory Obligation Xenia have across these areas
- Frequency applied to carry out these Compliance Checks within the context of Block Management
- Able to interpret Risk Assessments associated to the Compliance Areas and extract remedial actions required and instruct necessary works with given approval from the Compliance & Risk Manager
- Proficient with use of Asset Management Software - Qube/Fix Flo and Microsoft Excel
- Able to produce useable reports on a daily basis to track live/up to date progress on Compliance Checks/Tests along with any follow on remedial works required
- Confident to flag immediate issues/concerns directly to the Compliance & Risk Manager at the earliest opportunity
- Day-to-day management of residential building portfolio
- Manage all repairs and planned maintenance
- Assist Property Manager to manage preventative maintenance schedules
- Appoint external contractors to manage repairs and upkeep
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors
- Assist Property Manager to prepare annual Planned Maintenance and Improvement Plans
- Work with the Property Management Team to ensure a high level of customer service
