- **Your main duties will include**:_
To provide the best possible fares for the company’s consultants
Issue various travel documents including airlines tickets, multi-purpose documents, rail and ferry tickets,
Assist in establishing, compiling and updating the database of “consolidated” and IT airfares provided direct by the airlines or other agents.
Provide a full audit service of IATA fare quotations either generated by the computerised reservation fare quote system or the airlines fares department for all offices within the Group.
Mix and match both IATA and consolidator air fares where appropriate to offer the best fare quotations
Monitor the usage of consolidated airfares supplied direct by the airlines, route deals and other preferential rates to ensure our clients receive the best deals available and to assist in ensuring these preferential rates continue to be offered to the Group, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability is achieved.
Demonstrate innovative fare construction on itineraries such as combination ticketing, currency manipulation, separate ticketing etc to ensure the best fare is offered for the itinerary whilst adhering to IATA fare construction principals at all times.
Thoroughly check the validity of any ADM’s received from carriers and where necessary dispute these with either the carrier or the GDS supplier. If the ADM is valid advise the reservation/ticketing agent the reason for the ADM being received.
- **Skills & Experience required;**_
Knowledge of nett & published fares
Galileo, Sabre, Wordspam or Amadeus is essential
Previous experience of working in a fares department is advantageous

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
