Sales Ledger Supervisor

Not for profit organisation in Orpington are urgently looking to recruit a Sales Ledger Supervisor for a 9 month maternity cover fixed term contract. Reporting to the Group Head of finance, this role is responsible for the control and production of transactionsand cash flow management. Duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Manage team of 4 people
- Responsible for cash flow management of debtors, reporting to the Group Head of finance and Group Finance Director each week on debtors and cash flow
- Issuing of all sales invoices.
- Ensuring that the accounting entries for sales invoices, credit notes and debit notes are accurately entered into the Access accounting system
- Ensuring that all cash is allocated upon receipt to the respective accounts
- The input and maintenance of client contracts
- The input of Direct Debit mandates and the reconciliation of Direct Debit Control Accounts
- Assist in month end and year end processes in accordance with the relevant timetable
- Ad hoc duties as required
