Trainee Plumber

**Technical Qualifications & Required Experience**
- CSCS card preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the construction industry useful but not essential.
- Basic plumbing skills. Speed fit and copper.
- Basic carpentry skills.
- Driving license essential.

- Must be eligible to gain CRB/DBS (Criminal Record Background/Disclosure Barring Service) clearance.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist with the positioning and installation of catering equipment as required on site.
- Assisting with the installation of onsite plumbing under guidance of the lead engineer.
- Assist with the construction of onsite links and ramps.
- Assist with the installation of PKL kitchen units under the guidance of the site supervisor.
- Preparation of materials in readiness for site installs.
- General site and PKL location housekeeping duties ensuring the various projects areas are always kept clean and tidy, ensuring materials returning from site are cleaned and returned to storage.
- On occasion go out with the delivery drivers and assist with the unloading and marshalling of catering equipment.
- The principal role is Junior Plumber/Event Installation Assistant, but work will also include, depending on the needs of the business, similar duties to the above, including general maintenance, at the PKL head office site.

**Health and Safety**
- Ensure that all HASAW requirements are met and that PKL’s HASAW policy is followed.
- Always carry out tasks in accordance with any documented risk assessment and safe working practice.

**Salary**: From £24,414.00 per year
