The **West Suffolk Property Services team** is responsible for maintaining an expanding diverse portfolio of over 400 properties that includes offices, leisure buildings, shopping centres, industrial sites, housing, parks, historic buildings and scheduled ancient monuments.

**About the role**

You will be primarily responsible for delivering project work associated with the development of new sites, refurbishment, and repair of a number the properties, from concept to completion. You will also support the wider team in delivering the day to day planned and reactive maintenance across our portfolio.

We are specifically looking for someone with experience to carry out the following:

- Determining client’s requirements and producing feasibility studies and technical briefs.
- Preparing and presenting design and construction drawings using Auto-CAD, sketch-up and traditional drawing methods.
- Obtaining statutory approvals.
- Specification writing.
- Contract management.

**What you will need**
- You will, ideally, be RICS qualified and have some practical experience of actively managing a property portfolio and working on property asset-based projects. However, a good property mind, with the ability to think creatively and focus on solutions is more important.
- Some public sector experience and understanding would be advantageous however, is not essential.
