Catering Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation and delivery of food and beverages for various events. - **Duties**_:

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling platters
- Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring all tables, chairs, linens, and decorations are properly arranged
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Provide exceptional guest services by promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns
- **Experience**_:

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: £11.50-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
