As the thought partner of OVO verticals and leadership, the strategy team influences the overall strategic direction of OVO. The team also actively identifies potential improvements in the day-to-day business. The team’s analyses will be backed by a deep understanding of our business model and financial metrics, having the ultimate goal of driving growth or profitability of the business.

**Get to know the Role**

The Head of Strategy will define, lead and execute business strategy and operational improvements - regularly looking for new opportunities, reviewing previously held assumptions and advising leadership on strategic imperatives and developing related action plans.

**The Day-to-Day Activities**
- Lead and execute projects, from identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market.
- Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards
- Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions
- Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process
- Responsible for leading assessments and feasibility studies for new product introduction, geographic business growth, commercial ventures and key strategic partnerships
- Organize analysis, prepare recommendations and present to leadership team
- Partner closely with cross-functional business stakeholders to set and implement strategy
- Perform deep dive into the business and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the company

**The Must-Haves**
- Proven project leadership and resource management experience
- Excellent organizational, and problem-solving/decision-making skills.
- Intelligent, motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
- Experience in operational topics and strategy implementation with hands-on engagement style.
- High levels of adaptability, comfortable with ambiguity and working in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex & Ambiguous) environment
- Solid spoken and written communication skills.
- Effective communicator: concise and articulate in any medium, you are able to convert a large amount of information and data into clear message
