At René House CIC, we provide supported accommodation to adults and families who are homeless/at risk of homelessness in the Nottingham area. We operate across various locations in Nottinghamshire, delivering housing and support to those in our service.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Senior Support Worker. For this role, we are eager to find someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about helping others, with proven experience in a similar role.
The duties of this role, include:
- Managing a caseload of residents and delivering tailored support to them on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with the Support Manager in overseeing specific properties and the support delivered within these properties.
- To conduct one-on-one check-ins with residents to gather feedback on the quality of the service and identify areas for improvement.
- To maintain a regular site presence to deter anti-social behaviour.
- To provide assistance and guidance to support workers in making decisions and handling incidents involving residents.
- To facilitate shadow shifts for new support workers, ensuring they are prepared and confident in their new roles.
- To carry out on-call duties - mandatory 8 days a month
- To carry out internal documentation audits on the support documents

**ABOUT YOU**:
We are looking for a self-motivated, caring, and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You would need to be organised and proactive in managing your own diary, with high communication skills and experience within a similar role.
**Required**:
- Experience of supporting those with multiple complex needs
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- A passion for helping others
- Empathetic and have good listening skills
- Good timekeeping
- Confidence to work independently.
- Great organisational skills
- Experience in using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams)
- Full UK Driving Licence
**Desired**:
- Experience in supporting those who are homeless.
- Experience of risk management in residential settings

**LOCATION**:
René House has separate properties in Nottinghamshire; therefore, you would be required to travel to different locations. Your role may include meeting residents away from the property and travelling with them to different locations. You will be expected to work in the office at least one day a week.
**THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO DRIVE AND HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR OWN VEHICLE. MILEAGE WILL BE REIMBURSED.**
**Salary**: From £24,500.00 per year
