**The Role**:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Camera Operator to join our production team here in York. Working on projects for both internal and external audiences, for an eclectic mix of national and global brands in sectors including (but not limited to) fashion, education, heritage, retail, charity and tourism.

Applicants will be highly motivated and efficient in creating engaging films and have the creative flare for fresh, innovative and out of the box ideas.

**Desired experience**:

- Ability to shoot a range of projects on location or studio environments.
- Ability to take the lead on high pressured film shoots and provide support to the Director when required. Applicants must also have the ability to film solo when required across a variety of shoot scopes.
- Strong understanding of, and ability to light a variety of sets/scenes to deliver specific moods/styles.
- Experience in effectively communicating with clients at all levels.
- 5 years camera operation experience (a must) with Sony Fs7, Blackmagic, Alexa Mini (desired)
- Understanding of current trends in film, knowledge of what it takes to create shareable and far reaching video content.
- A good understanding of the global social media landscape.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-skilled team, developing ideas and integrating motion design to form seamless and engaging content.

**Experience Overview**:

- Camera Operation: 5 years (preferred).
- Full, Clean driving license with own vehicle to get to and from shoots independently when required.
- No formal qualifications necessary but proven skills and motivation must be evidenced.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
