**The Upex Group** is seeking a skilled and experienced **Head Gardener** to oversee our groundskeeping team.

As the **Head Gardener,** you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our garden operations. You will lead a team of gardeners and horticulturists, ensuring the implementation of high-quality garden maintenance, landscaping, and design practices. Your expertise and creativity will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of our gardens, making them exceptional spaces for our clients to enjoy.

**Location**: Nottingham

**Salary**:up to £30000.00 per annum

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of groundskeepers and ensure they perform their tasks effectively and efficiently
- Create schedules and work plans for groundskeepers
- Ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Manage budgets and order necessary supplies and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds and identify areas that require attention
- Develop and implement landscaping plans to enhance the overall appearance of the grounds
- Respond to requests from management and other departments on time
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed by all team members

**Requirements**:

- Full UK driving licence
- PA1 & PA6 - prefered
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, irrigation systems, and pest control methods
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of Grounds maintenance equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
