- **Contract**:Temporary until end of Jan 2024 / 40 Hours Per Week
- **Location**:Manchester Depot, Irlam, Manchester, M44
- **Hourly Rate**: £11.33ph - 13.00
- **Days of Work**: 5 to include weekends
- **Optional overtime**:

- **Load and unload cargo from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of items**

**Qualifications**:
**Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points)**

**DBS certificate required - no previous convictions essential**
**Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver preferred**
**Ability to safely operate a commercial van**
**Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members**
**Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading cargo**
**Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus**
**Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures**
**Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner**
**Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving**

**Your shift will start at the depot where you’ll assist with loading parcels. We’ll give you a delivery schedule for the day and then you’re on the road, driving our 3.5 tonne van and making multi-drop collections and deliveries around the area.**

**Job Type**: Temporary contract

**Salary**: £11.50-£15.07 per hour
