Warhouse Operative

**Sterling Personnel** are currently working alongside a specialist suppliers of innovative and quality packaging products, equipment and bespoke packaging solutions based in **Derbyshire (DE7).**

**Job Role**:Warehouse Op / Multi Drop Driver / FLT
**Location**: Ilkeston, DE7
**Hours**: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5pm
**Salary**: £12.24

**Requirements**:

- Driving licence
- FLT experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including forklifts, and 3.5T vans
- Load and unload goods and materials from trucks using pallet jacks and other equipment
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery of goods
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, such as organizing inventory or preparing shipments

**Experience**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in driving, preferably with experience operating forklifts
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles
- Ability to lift objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong attention to detail to accurately record delivery information
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.24 per hour
