**About the role**:

- Select, inspect, and load components material for shot blasting.
- Operate equipment to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through the nozzle.
- Direct blast or flow of abrasive-laden compressed air over the surface of parts, ensuring thorough coverage.
- Examine finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
- Recover and prepare steel shot for reuse or disposal.
- Perform finished goods inspections and record results as specified.
- Adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
- Assist the fabrication team with small tasks as required.

**About you**:

- Proven experience in both small and large-scale shot blasting operations.
- Confidence in prioritizing and managing workload independently.
- Strong teamwork and initiative-taking abilities.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate obstacles and solutions.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

- Standing and walking are continual requirements.
- Hand and finger dexterity are frequently utilized.
- Occasional climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling may be required.
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals may occur occasionally.
- The work environment typically has a very loud noise level.
