**Our client is a major international player in the automotive industry, supplying a wide range of both OEM and Tier 1 customers specialising in the stamping of sheet metals. Supplying products globally they are busier than ever, and they are now lookingfor experienced Tool Makers to join their expanding teams on their Studley site in Birmingham.**
**Tool Maker**
- Tool manufacturing from finished component drawings
- Corrective maintenance on all press tool, fixtures, and gauges
- Refurbishing weld fixtures
- Identify cost effective tool maintenance to reduce / eliminate tool downtime
- Being responsible for making available fully operating tooling for production
- Assisting Team Leaders with improvements to tooling
- Maintain all relevant records for development purposes
- Liaising daily with the shift manager on tasks for the day

**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications**:

- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Ability to present data effectively
- Understanding of Health and Safety
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Be able to work as part of a team
