**Job Opportunity**

We rely very heavily on our IT systems, which have become more and more integrated into everything that we do. Digitalisation is at the core of our business philosophy. We use Google Workspace extensively, and several best of breed software solutions that we have extensively integrated using Zapier and other tools. And as a technical production company, we provide IT rental equipment and manage event footage for clients. That’s why need an ambitious IT professional who can help support our internal infrastructure and the interface with our IT rental department.

You’ll help to manage the security of the company’s computer systems and electronic data, the development and implementation of bespoke systems and oversee computer-related activities.

**Responsibilities**
- You will monitor the daily operations of network and server infrastructure
- You will liaise with the company’s outsource IT support and remote infrastructure provider
- You will provide first line IT support to colleagues
- You will help to manage IT budgets, forecast and enforce cost-effectiveness
- You will assess and purchase new and replacement IT hardware
- You will implement security of our network, data and its storage and communication systems
- You will oversee the company’s IT rental preparation area
- You will maintain the company’s imaging server
- You will manage the company’s master control room and customer event data

**What we’re looking for**

You should have/be:

- Demonstrable experience of supporting IT systems, desktop support and a diverse range of software
- Good time management and planning skills, setting realistic and achievable targets and delivering those targets
- Good interpersonal skills and experience of working effectively with a wide variety of people at all levels within an organisation
- Strong team skills with the ability to work with a variety of professionals from different disciplines
- Naturally pro-active instincts, with a hunger for inspiring change and operational improvement

The role will generally be performed Monday to Friday, but some “out of hours” working may occasionally be required in order facilitate certain IT maintenance tasks or provide support to colleagues. There is a high degree of flexibility regarding working hours, as well as an understanding that this is not a 9-5 job.

In terms of work location, the nature of this role requires a high degree of collaboration with colleagues supporting hardware in different departments with our Chessington HQ, so the role will be performed predominantly in the office with occasional working from home to be agreed on an ad hoc basis.
