Hours: 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday

Location: Leicester

Our client continues to grow and there is no sign of slowing working with multi-million-pound projects across the country with a big focus in London. We seek and Estimator with sound knowledge of Joinery to work from and the Leicester factory and be one of the main points for all estimations.

As a Fit-out Estimator you must have a specific set of skills and qualifications such as:

- Joinery manufacturing experience & High-end turnkey Fit Out experience.
- Level 3 NVQ in Joinery or equivalent

Key Responsibilities for the Fit-out Estimator
- Providing competitive estimates for bespoke Joinery, Doors and Fit Out supply and install packages.
- Ability to tender using “First Principles”.
- Using internal estimating and take-off systems to accurately cost project/enquiry.
- Calculating preliminary costs, in conjunction with Account Managers and Delivery Teams
- Developing client relationships to enhance opportunities to tender, negotiate and enhance tender margins.
- Liaising with the Client and Design Team during the tender process
- Producing sub-contract and material enquires for bespoke joinery and High end Fit Out contracts.
- Answering sub-contractor and supplier queries and appraising quotations
- Checking tender documents, making amendments where required
- Abstracting information into subcontract and material packages
- Identifying scope for design alternatives and value engineering
- Attending site surveys when required
- Attending adjudication meeting and present full tender to Estimating Manager, ensuring all risks are highlighted.
- Attend post tender negotiations with clients.
- Any other duties needed to ensure the full discharge of duties responsibly requested by your line manager.
- Work in a safe manner following Company Procedures, 14001 Environmental, 9001 Quality and Statutory H&S Regulations.
