Are you an experienced time served Manufacturing Manager with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical engineering?

Our client with a site based in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis.

As Manufacturing Manager, you will lead the manufacturing & operations team to ensure all products are manufactured at agreed cost and to specification, ensuring planning, resourcing, scheduling and quality of goods, continuous improvement of manufacturingprocesses and site health & safety.

You will be responsible for assembly, fabrication, QC, test and manufacturing for all aspects of direction and leadership, develop and execute the operations business strategy, to provide cost effective, profitable solutions for customers, ensure regulatoryand compliance and maintained across the whole of the manufacturing operation, along with QHSE, ensure that an effective supply chain is maintained, optimising productivity and performance, develop and manage a plan for capital investment of plant, machineryand facilities, ensure that equipment, machinery and workplace is property maintained and managed to meet the required output, increase productivity and waste reduction. Continued development of accurate daily & weekly forecasting for capacity planning schedulingand control processes are in place to support S&OP and ensure effective capacity / load balancing.

You will engage and lead a high performing team consistently meeting training and development needs and career advancement, performing 121's and performance reviews, performance management, mentoring and developing senior members of the manufacturing team,support on customer projects, develop and manage performance metrics, facilitate and review continuous improvement initiatives.

To be considered for the role of Manufacturing Manager, you will be time served with a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering. You will also hold leadership / management qualifications. You will be able to demonstrate understanding anddeployment of Six Sigma, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles.

You will have strong leadership skills with excellent communication and influencing skills and ability to project manage and deliver operational strategy.
