An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and licensed Forklift Truck Driver/Despatch Operative to join our fast growing food production facility based in Corby. This role best suits upbeat and self motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency with excellent communication skills. Also with a fantastic shift premium of 25%

The position requires to work a Monday to Friday 10pm-6am.

The duties include, but are not limited to:

- Removal and weighing of all Pastry and food waste prior to tipping using a FLT with utmost care and attention.
- Unload any pallet deliveries, count, and sign paperwork.
- Work closely with warehouse administrator to inform if any skips need changing.
- Keep the warehouse and yard clear, clean and swept of debris to maintain company audit standards which are reviewed daily.
- Be able to report effectively and efficiently any pest activity to our inhouse QA team.
- Complete MHE checks and report any defects to Warehouse Administrator.
- Ability to work under own initiative and within a team and the willingness to go the extra mile to help inside factory if required.

**Key Attributes**
- An ability to work under your own initiative as well as part of a small team.
- An inquisitive approach and effective problem solving.
- Good communication, both written & verbal with a good command of the English language and confident to communicate to higher levels.
- Good level of mathematical aptitude and natural attention to detail.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements and quality systems.
- Ideally with food manufacturing/bakery experience.
- Good time keeping essential.

**Qualifications**
- FLT License (essential)
- HACCP (desirable)
- Food Safety Level 2 (desirable)
- Experience within a fast pace food production environment (desirable)
