**Purpose of the role**:
To support the organisation by co-ordinating and supporting external quality assurance (EQA) activities. This includes the facilitation and administration associated with EQA meetings. It includes assisting with standardisation activities, including the collation and preparation of samples. This role is key to the sampling processes used by the group and will at time contribute to internal audit activity.

**Key Activities**:

- Facilitate all EQA meetings including room bookings, calendar coordination, creating agendas, gathering appropriate information, providing support and minute taking
- Assist with standardisation activities to include the collation and preparation of samples
- Co-ordinate the EQA sampling process to include the receipt, scanning, copying and returning of all samples of learner work
- Review all EQA reports to ensure the accuracy of content and format and carry out the submission to centres
- Assist in carrying out internal audit checks in preparation for monitoring activities
- Complete all activities within set service standards and inform the manager(s) where these cannot be met
- Record all external interactions in the MIA system
- Monitor the Centre assessment standards scrutiny (CASS) process reporting any issues or recommendations for improvement
- Implement and lead on training and standardisation for all external verifiers/quality assurance associates
- Provide ongoing support to EQA associates including the creation of accounts and secure links, general enquiries, the use of system forms and allocation of EQA activities
- Manage the EV roadshow and Access to HE inboxes to ensure timely and accurate responses to enquiries
- Coordinate associate invoicing and tracking
- Gather information and data from MIA logs to be used for analysis and strategic planning
- Co-ordinate registration panels to include additional checking processes to ensure the effective monitoring of learner registrations and compliance with the qualification rules of combination
- Arrange the schedule of Access to HE Awards Boards and act as Awards Board Chair as required
- Coordinate and monitor any extension submissions for Access to HE
- Support the wider organisation in the preparation for inspections, audit and self-assessment

- Undertake any other duties as appropriate to the post as requested by the Board
- Contribute to and support the review of the company by:

- The development of new initiatives and enhancements
- Identifying emerging trends and suggesting improvements
- Suggesting and collaborating with colleagues to drive improvements to the customer journey and processes based on insights
- Work as part of a team with a flexible approach to working activities

**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:
**Essential**:

- Knowledge and understanding of an awarding organisation and the regulatory requirements associated with Access and RQF provision
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Hold a level 4 qualification or above, or able to demonstrate equivalent occupational experience
- A minimum of Level 2 English and numeracy or equivalent
- A good communicator with individuals and groups of all levels
- Ability to create good reports for a range of audiences
- Ability to use initiative to solve problems before they escalate
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Is organised and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Ability to accurately track and maintain records
- Works well as part of a team and encourages this in others
- Has a flexible approach to their work

Desirable:

- Experience of coordinating EQA activities within an awarding organisation
- Experience of coordinating and working with a team of remote working professionals, demonstrating ability to communicate professionally and respectfully

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,500.00-£295,000.00 per year
