Pro-active Training are seeking a qualified IQA to join our team working between Hartlepool and Newcastle training centres. Pro-active Training are a construction training provider helping young people take their first steps into their chosen career.

As an Internal Quality Assessor, you will beresponsible for monitoring the activities of assessors and tutors within the business and to ensure that their duties are completed to the highest standards and that all areas of compliance are observed. You must adhere to all Safeguarding, Prevent and British value Polices and Procedures held at Pro-active training
- Supporting Newly Qualified assessors and checking their judgements are correct.
- Monitoring tutors’ and assessors’ compliance with procedures e.g. completing reviews, planning, assessments
- Offering support tutors with their own study for further qualifications e.g., TAQA, DTTLS
- Monitoring learners progress throughout the course, and as they approach End Point Assessment
- Checking that assessors meet the requirement for their role
- Planning and preparing monitoring and assessment activities
- Work alongside assessors, trainers, and employers to ensure the standardisation of assessment practices
- Observing trainer and assessor performance, providing constructive feedback
- Sampling assessment records and decisions
- Meeting with learners, gathering feedback and reporting this to the lead IQA and Quality Manager.
- Planning how and when you will monitor trainers and assessors with the lead IQA and Quality Manager
- Facilitating and preparing for EAQ visits

Skills Required
- A proven track record of working in a similar role
- A recognised internal quality assurance qualification
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail
- A highly motivated individual with a ‘can do’ attitude

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
