Npd Technologist

**Job Purpose**:
The NPD Technologist will report to the NPD Manager and will assist in the development of innovative products and the continuous improvement of exiting products and ranges.

Working closely with customers and the commercial team the NPD Technologist will support in the daily administrative and logístical considerations of the department to drive success in the products that Freshcut develop and launch.

The NPD Technologist will work within a cross-functional team and will have a close liaison with the process, technical and commercial teams

**Key Daily Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily sample plan including, but not limited, to the following.

1. Schedule samples and respond to customers

2. Organise raw materials

3. Arrange transport

4. Communicate with the Development Chefs on product requirements

5. Support where required in the NPD kitchen
- Liaise with the Process team on product handovers and support product launches
- Accurately record all sample data
- Keep NPD trackers regularly updated for customers
- Complete specifications for customers as required

**Product Development**
- Work within the NPD team to deliver consistently outstanding service to customers
- Support a culture of positivity and success within the NPD team
- Work within a team to develop products that excite our customers and deliver commercial success for Freshcut
- Ensure that products are developed effectively and responsibly for the business being mindful of factory operations and technical requirements
- Maintain Freshcut Foods food values and research food trends and information that will benefit our customers
- Attend and support the weekly NPD pipeline with relevant information on specific products
