**Role responsibilities**
- Ensuring safe and efficient signalling of movements to and from the Mainline Signaller Workstation in accordance with national Rule Book and local operating instructions.
- Ensuring safety of all staff by implementing and complying with Depot Protection Rules including relevant Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) Isolation Instructions, where applicable.
- Reporting of and maintaining records of any safety incidents.
- Supporting the operational control in the day to day running of all TfW services.

**Who we’re looking for**
- A good standard of education is required GCSE level or equivalent in English and mathematics.
- Ability to manage safety critical incidents, following rules and instructions and maintaining and effective level of verbal communication.
- Able to work on unsupervised and manage workload through prioritising.
- Good geographical knowledge of the CVL area and adjacent network.

**Welsh Language Skills**

Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills. We fully support our people who want to improve their Welsh language skills, and personal development for Welsh Language skills are offered in a variety of ways such as online learning, classroom courses and funding attendance at local community courses.

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn gyfrifol am sicrhau bod y cerbydau Trenau-Tram Class 398 yn cael eu symud yn ddiogel ac yn effeithlon yn Nepo Ffynnon Taf gan ddefnyddio Technoleg Rheoli ar gyfrifiadur yn unol â Rheolau Cwmni TrC a’r Rheolwr Depo. Bydd y cyfrifoldebau’n cynnwys y canlynol, ymhlith pethau eraill:

- Sicrhau bod signalau’r symudiadau i mewn ac allan o Weithfan Signalau’r Prif Lein yn ddiogel ac yn effeithlon yn unol â’r Llyfr Rheolau cenedlaethol a’r cyfarwyddiadau gweithredu lleol.
- Sicrhau diogelwch yr holl staff drwy weithredu a chydymffurfio â Rheolau Diogelu’r Depo, gan gynnwys y Cyfarwyddiadau perthnasol ar Ynysu Cyfarpar Llinellau Uwch
