**About Camelot**

Our workshop and offices are based on Racecourse Road in Pershore.

You need to be self-motivated and happy working without close supervision to get pieces out of the door.

**Main Role**: Working alongside our other skilled craftsperson you will be responsible for making our canopies from thin sheet, dog irons and fire grates from heavy bar, and fabricating other items from laser cut / CNC folder components, plus a selection of bespoke items. All our work is metal work and handmade.

The role involves cutting, welding, marking out, full size templating of some designs provided using board before manufacture, sheet metal work, drilling, riveting, hand beating, rolling, swaging, folding, grinding, cutting back, polishing, painting, spraying. We can offer training in all of these areas if needed.

**Accurate and on time production is crucial**: This role is responsible for the accurate fabrication, to design, to required timescales and to agreed quality standards. Also the recording of how time spent each day to produce pieces so we have a clear record for future production planning and costing.

**You will also be responsible for**:

- Working to agreed quality control processes through your regular stage inspections of your work and completing all appropriate quality process documentation.
- Flagging up design issues that arise in the production process for resolution
- Taking action to correct any quality issues identified before a piece leaves the workshop.
- Inputting into production design decisions and process improvements.
- Keeping the workshop and storage areas clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Working safely in line with company H&S policies.

**You will be**:
Have a good working knowledge of English and be able to do undertake maths workings to accurately fabricate the items required off drawings supplied.

Have experience in sheet metal work and how to form and join this to the shapes required.

Be able to communicate and work together with your colleagues to achieve our common goal of creating things customers want and have paid for.
