**2nd Line IT Support Engineer, Oxford, £30,000 - £35,000**

Our client are one of the oldest and most established IT Support Companies in Oxfordshire. They provide support, hosting and digital services to a wide range of individuals and businesses across the UK. Due to continued growth, they have a number of excitingpositions to provide remote, onsite and project related support to their client base.

In this role as an 2nd IT Support Engineer, you will be helping both private and business customers with IT technical issues. Some of the duties involve:

- Identifying, researching, and resolving customer issues using available resources.
- Following-up on customer problems not immediately resolved
- Recommend solutions to fulfil requirements and solve problems
- Providing support to junior IT engineers

The successful individual will benefit from knowledge of the following:

- Experience working in a similar role
- Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (2003/2008/2008R2/SBS/2012 Server/XP/Vista/7/8)
- Core Microsoft infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, IIS, AD, RDS)
- Virtualisation
- Hyper-V, VMWare
- Backup technologies
- Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
- Firewalls (PFSense, Sonicwall, Watchguard, Sophos UTM)
- Office 365, Azure
