King's Lynn, United Kingdom Dodd Group Full time

HVAC / MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

King’s Lynn

The Company

Dodd Group was formed in 1947 in Shropshire and has remained a privately owned family business ever since. With an unrivalled reputation within the building services sector, we offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical design, installation and maintenance service across many sectors.

The role

Due to continued contract growth, our King’s Lynn office is expanding, and we are currently recruiting for a suitably qualified HVAC / Mechanical Supervisor to work across East Anglia on commercial HVAC systems and water utility sites under our MEICA framework. You will be the Company’s representative on site, supervising, installing, and overseeing the works.

As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will coordinate and supervise the mechanical team to deliver on time and on budget. You will scope work on site and assess work required. You will supervise the site schedule of site teams. You will be required to help with the installations as needed on a day to day basis. You will conduct toolbox talks and work with the QHSE Manager to ensure health and safety on site.

**Qualifications**:
Applicants must be qualified to NVQ L3 or equivalent, hold a CSCS card or equivalent, and have experience of the installation, service and maintenance of mechanical equipment including ventilation systems in industrial or utility environments.

A clean full driving licence is required as the role involves travelling on a daily basis for which a vehicle will be provided.

Familiarity with laptop or tablet-based admin systems including MS Word, Excel and Outlook would be advantageous for the planning and ordering of materials through the office and the handover of project documentation after installation.

Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, confined space entry, working at height, first aid, manual handling and asbestos awareness training would be an advantage, although relevant training will be provided.

In return

You will be working for a company who will offer you a structured opportunity to progress your career, with continued support and training.

You will receive a liveried company van, fuel card, uniform, mobile phone, tablet, 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a competitive rate of pay.

You’ll work in a friendly, inclusive environment where people understand the value of their contribution and are encouraged to recognise a job well done. You’ll be part of an open, engaged culture where everyone has a voice and the opportunity to get involved, as well as make a real difference.
