GSL Education is currently seeking a Learning Mentor to work at an SEN school in Redbridge. The school caters to children with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Non-Verbal, and those from broken homes. The school is dedicated to providing a supportive and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.

**Role Overview**:
As a Learning Mentor, you will be responsible for supporting students with mild SEN in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to create individual learning plans for each student, monitor their progress, and provide additional support as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly mild SEN
- Knowledge and experience of writing reports
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to provide a full career history and 2 referees.
- Passionate about working with children with special educational needs
- Good understanding of the different types of SEN and strategies to support them
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Graduates looking to work with SEN are also welcome to apply.
