**About Us**

Firesec Compliance Limited offer specialist Fire Protection and Compliance Services to businesses throughout the UK with a focus on multiple site location business.

Due to the continued growth of our Compliance Department, we are looking for a Fire Risk Assessor to join our team.

As a Fire Risk Assessor at Firesec Compliance Limited you will be responsible for conducting site-based fire risk assessments within a variety of sectors, including industrial, commercial and residential within a specific timescale using bespoke software to collect data via a tablet.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Conducting on-site fire risk assessments, fire door audits and fire safety training courses.
- Ensure buildings conform to the latest fire safety legislation and technical standards.
- Generating detailed reports via bespoke software.
- Sending reports to the compliance department for review.
- Identifying issues and proposing practical solutions.
- Attending continuous professional development (CPD) Training / Industry Events.
- Collaborating with our team to ensure continual improvement and sharing knowledge.

**Requirements for the Role**
- Minimum of 2 years continuous experience of on-site fire risk assessment inspections and report writing.
- Experience of undertaking and a good understanding of Type 1 & 3 fire risk assessments.
- Broad range of property experience such as residential, commercial and industrial.
- Membership with a professional body such as the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and/or the Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE).
- Minimum of Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment Foundation Training.
- Evidence of continuous professional development (CPD) and vocational fire safety courses.
- Full UK (Clean) Driving Licence and DBS Check.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
- Understanding and experience of working with relevant fire safety legislation, standards and guidance. (e.g. ADB, BS9999, RRFSO, PAS 79, PD 7974 etc.).

It would be advantageous to hold membership with an approved fire risk assessor register (IFE, FRACS, IFSM TFRAR).
