**Introduction**

As an Milk Receptionist at our Lockerbie Creamery, you will be the first point of contact at site for all milk deliveries and will ensure that these deliveries are process correctly and efficiently. Paying particular attention to health and safety, you will analyse and evaluate products and materials to ensure that quality and approved analysis standards are met.

**So what do our Milk Receptionist actually do?**
- As a Milk Receptionist, you will be integral to site operations greeting milk tankers to site and ensuring that the deliveries are processed in a timely manner
- Conducting tests to analyse products and materials
- Interpreting results of analyses and escalating non-conformance issues as required
- Communicating results to relevant departments
- Ensuring that instrumentation is functioning and that calibrated and verified methods are used

**What you’ll need in order to be successful in the role**
- An attention to detail to ensure all recording is 100% accurate
- The ability work independently
- The ability to communicate effectively with external and internal teams
- If you have manufacturing/ food manufacturing experience, that’s great. If not, we can coach you.
