**Responsibilities**:
As a server at Karen's Diner, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable dining experience for our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing outstanding customer service: Greet guests warmly, guide them through the menu, and ensure their overall satisfaction throughout their visit.

2. Taking orders accurately and efficiently: Be attentive to customer requests, answer any questions, and ensure orders are relayed promptly to the kitchen.

3. Demonstrating exceptional knowledge of our menu: Educate customers about our delicious offerings, provide recommendations, and upsell enticing specials to maximize sales.

4. Delivering food and beverages promptly: Ensure that all orders are delivered promptly and accurately, maintaining high quality and presentation standards.

5. Assisting with table setup and cleaning: Prepare tables for guests, including ensuring cleanliness and organization. Clear tables efficiently after guests depart.

6. Collaborating with team members: Work closely with our kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

7. Handling payments: Accurately process payments, including cash, credit cards, and mobile payments, and provide guests with receipts.

Sales Makers:
At Karen's Diner, we believe that exceptional servers are also skilled sales makers. As a sales maker, you will not only provide top-notch service but also actively promote our menu items and specials, leading to increased sales and customer satisfaction. Your ability to upsell and highlight our offerings will play a vital role in our success.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, ensuring exceptional service even during busy periods.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktail selections.
- A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
