**Join Our Team: 1:1 ASD Support Specialist**

Protocol Education are seeking a dedicated and empathetic 1:1 ASD Support Specialist to join our team, providing personalized support to students with ASD and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

**Position**: 1:1 ASD Support Specialist
**Location**: Spalding

The school is requiring an ASD specialist to support an EYFS pupil who are undergoing a transition into a special school setting. The pupil needs general guidance throughout the school day, creating fun activities and keeping her engaged on her classwork. The classroom is well-supported with experienced teachers and support staff, and the whole team at the school are very positive and supportive. The role would start after February half-term on the 19th February 2024.

**Requirements**:
‍ **Experience and Qualifications**: Hold relevant qualifications in Special Education, with experience in providing 1:1 support to students with ASD. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in ASD intervention is a plus.

**Empathy and Patience**: Demonstrate a deep understanding, empathy, and patience in working with students on the autism spectrum. Create a safe and supportive space for their growth and development.

**Collaborative Approach**: Work closely with classroom teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure a collaborative and holistic approach to each student's success.

**Adaptability**: Be adaptable and flexible in your teaching strategies, recognizing the unique needs and strengths of each student.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
