**The Client**

Our client is a leading engineering and environmental consultancy that provides high-quality consulting, engineering, and project management services, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Utility Surveyor to join our team.

**Job Specification**

As a Utility Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to identify and locate underground utilities, including gas, water, electricity, and telecommunications. You will use a range of survey equipment and software to produce high-quality reports and drawings, and you will work closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct utility surveys using a range of survey equipment, including GPR, EML, and GPS.
- Interpret survey data to identify and locate underground utilities and other services.
- Produce high-quality reports and drawings using survey software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Work closely with clients and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Liaise with utility providers to obtain information and utility plans.
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained on-site.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data, including field notes and digital data.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or time served in a related field.
- Competent in using utility surveying techniques, equipment and PAS 128 standards
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in your approach to working hours.
- Willing and able to travel and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Full UK driving licence.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
