We’ll want you to know our menus inside and out and know that maintaining high standards and strong teamwork at all times is the way to a successful shift.

**Who are we looking for?**

As the role of Senior Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the smooth and professional operation whilst the Restaurant Manager is not on site, ensuring that all tasks associated with the daily running of the restaurant are always carried out to a high standard.

You’ll lead by example. We’re looking to find friendly, personable, confident individuals, with a committed work ethic.

**Shift Leader responsibilities include**:

- Overseeing operations when the manager is absent
- Assigning duties to staff during shifts
- Providing customer service and managing complaints

**Job brief**

We are looking for a Shift Leader to oversee operations and workers during scheduled shifts.

Shift Leader responsibilities include managing cash, resolving conflicts and checking equipment. Ultimately, you will ensure all aspects of your shift run smoothly and effectively

**Responsibilities**
- Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts
- Schedule employee shifts and assign duties
- Manage time-off requests and handle last-minute absences
- Train and coach new employees
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management
- End of Day till reporting & responsibilities
- Venue Key Holder
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
- Address customer and employee complaints
- Resolve any work related staff enquiries in the workplace
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment

**Requirements and skills**
- Proven experience as a Shift Leader or relevant managerial role
- Knowledge of hospitality environmental health & safety regulations
- Commitment to excellent service
- Working well within a team
- Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast
- Strong problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to stand for long periods

**Benefits**:

**Schedule**:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- Fixed schedule

**Experience**:

- Supervisor/Team Leader: 2 years

**Pay structure**

**36-42 hours per week**

**£11.62 per hour basic rate (£13.62 with tips)**

Up to £12.00 per hour after completion of trial period.

Pay: £11.62 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 42 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

**Experience**:

- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 2 years (required)
