**Job Title**:Finance Officer - Purchase Ledger Clerk
**Location**:Preston, Lancashire.
**Salary**: £28,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
Are you an experienced purchase ledger clerk familiar and confident with processing up to 200 invoices per day?

Due to continued growth and company success over the last 12 months we are looking to recruit a highly organised and customer focused purchase ledger.
**Roles and responsibilities**:
- To provide effective and efficient purchase ledger tasks for both Sencat & it’s sister company Lancashire Gas Services Ltd.
- To process up to 200 purchase invoices per day, statements & month end reports.
- Matching, checking & coding invoices through the account’s software with attention to detail on nominal coding.
- Raise purchase orders as requested through internal departments.
- To record all invoices via the purchase order system and identify any irregularities
- Reconcile monthly supplier statements to the purchase ledger & produce month end payment run.
- Send monthly remittances for payments processed.
- File all purchase invoices electronically.
- Assist with information between departments.
- Supportive in helping resolve supplier queries.

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a busy and fast paced purchase ledger role, processing up to 200 purchase invoices per day.
- Highly orgnaised.
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and ability to build relationships.
