**SHES Advisor**

**What will you be doing**
- Advise and support SHESQ Manager to discharge their Health & Safety & Quality responsibilities towards our Construction Partners as defined by our network procedures
- Support Asset Management Teams to ensure compliance with all requirements are met.
- Carry out site inspections in accordance with the Company procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences of non-conformance.
- Input and collate data on SHESQ related issues into Company database, to assist in determining areas for continuous improvement through trends and data analysis
- Support Company auditing programme where required. Carry out regular audits as required
- Participate in working groups / forums / committees and joint consultations affecting the workforce as required
- Implement Best Practice and actively seeking innovations to introduce into the Business Unit as applicable
- Support Quality Management to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated.
- Help ensure we are compliant with our statutory undertakings
- Support construction partners in assisting mua’s mission to achieve net zero.
- Embrace the company’s vision and purpose, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Other engagements and tasks as required by the business

**Who we are looking for**
- Previous experience within a SHES and/or Quality adviser position
- Experience in onsite activities in civil engineering/construction, would be advantageous
- SHES Membership i.e. NEBOSH qualified
- Solid understanding of the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
- Understanding of relevant safety standards for UK construction activities
- Have a practical approach to manage on multiple onsite work projects in a changing environment
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- A full valid UK driving licence
