Overview of the role
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Leisure Assistant to liaise with clients, delivering a professional and enjoyable leisure experience.

The Leisure Assistant will be responsible for holding keys to the premises, opening and closing the facilities, and managing bookings and equipment.

Basic Requirements
- Over 18 years of age
- Able to pass a full DBS background check, due to the nature of the role
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Have the right to work in the UK

Your Purpose

To represent both Actihire and the partner school during community lettings periods and display a high level of responsibility, reliability, organisational and communication skills. The role will involve working evenings, weekends and school-holiday periods so a flexible approach to working hours is essential.

Your duties and responsibilities

As a Leisure Supervisor, your responsibilities are as follows:

- Holding keys to the premises
- Opening the premises prior to scheduled bookings and ensuring safe closure of the venue at the end of a scheduled booking
- Maintaining equipment
- Ensuring facilities are clean, tidy and presentable prior to any bookings
- Checking the facilities after any bookings to ensure they have been left at the expected standard and resolving any issues.
- Providing First Aid equipment in the event of an accident
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times
- Resolving customer queries or complaints
- Ensure you are being compliant with company policies
- Other duties within the competence of the post holder, as may be reasonably required the company.
- Producing staffing rota's on a weekly basis.
- Covering Lettings shifts in the event of Illness and Holiday periods.
- Providing remote onsite support to Leisure Assistants on shift.
- Management of a team of 2-3 Leisure Assistants.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 5-20 per week

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
