DS Medical are seeking a Warehouse Operative on a full-time permanent basis to join an extremely reputable, SME business based in Lee on the Solent. As a Warehouse Operative you will be working closely and alongside experienced employees to deliver and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. To be successful in this role you will need to be a reliable team player, that takes ownership of your work and has attention to detail.

**Main Purpose of Job Role**:
Reporting to the General Manager, you will learn all aspects of company operations from Customer Services through to order dispatch assisting other team members helping to achieve the company’s, targets and quality ethos by;
**1. **To ensureClient orders are dispatched correctly, cost effectively and delivered on time.

**2. **Communicating with both clients and colleagues where delays or issues arise from the order when required

**3. **Ensuring that the company policy is followed in terms of learning, so as to deliver competence, skill and knowledge to our client base.

**4. **Advising any perceived shortfalls toassist withinthe Purchasing process where outages are seen.

**5. **Assisting with Inventory function /stock control by means of product receipted, located, stored and transferred correctly to ensure the stock inventory is accurate.

The job role may include other reasonable duties/tasks from time to time.
- **Main Duties**_**:
**1. Order Management**

Assisting with the daily collation of Client orders, qualifying sufficient stock, orders are dispatched and delivered in timely manner. Picking and packing of orders, some heavy items to be moved around.

**2.** **Quality Control ISO9001**

**Learning all aspects of ISO Quality management system**

**i. **Assisting withmonthly reporting of QMS is adhered to

**ii. **Assisting withany Customer complaints, rejected product / non conformance is rectified as high priority and that customers are kept informed accordingly.

**iii. **Assisting with the correct non-conformance paperwork being raised and processed with every reject.

**3. Inventory Management**

**i. **Assist with incoming product, processed and managed appropriately

according to company procedure.

**ii. **Ensuring materials are ready and available for production as and when required.

**iii. **Ensure that finished product is well packaged, labeled and delivered

according to the agreed delivery date.

**4. Customer Service**

**i. **Maintain proactive, dynamic and effective communication with

customers at all times.

**ii. **Offer flexible and helpful customer service to maintain a high level of

customer satisfaction and repeat business.

**5. Health & Safety**

**i. **Promote & maintain awareness and compliance of H&S in

accordance with best practice and legal requirement.
