MacKenzie King are recruiting a **Credit Controller** for an established and growing organisation in Stowmarket. As a **Credit Controller** you will ensure the company receives money from businesses and customers for services or products supplied.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Collection of all customer and cash debt in line with company procedures
- Post and reconcile customer payments/receipts/credit notes daily
- Alert Financial Controller at earliest opportunity of any possibility of bad/doubtful debt, issues arising with customer accounts
- Liaise with internal colleagues to resolve queries and assess credit worthiness of new and existing customers
- Manage and report on overtrading accounts
- Manage the ON STOP procedure
- Take responsibility for reconciliation and integrity of the sales ledger
- Investigation and resolution of queries, correction of errors and differences
- To meet accounting deadlines, in order to achieve the company’s reporting requirements
- Ad hoc tasks as and when required

**Keys Skills & Attributes**:

- Friendly, approachable, team player attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in a busy accounts department
- Ability to work towards deadlines
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- IT literate especially in Accounting Software & Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
