**Salary/hourly rate**: Grade E SCP 6-9 £23,893-£25,119 pro rata. Actual £18,193 - £19,127 pro rata per annum, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.

**Our Opportunity**

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and resilient individual, to join our school as our Advanced Teaching Support. Your role will be to work within our current learning support team by encouraging our children in achieving our school motto: ‘be our best’. Your work will help shape the learning experience of our students, providing extra attention to detail and support to help children flourish in curriculum confidence.

Here at Lady Lumley’s, we are fortunate to have an experienced and skilled Learning Support team who make such a difference to our students, providing support for a variety of needs including communication and interaction, cognition and learning, physical and sensory and social, emotional and mental health needs. As our new colleague, you will support the team in addressing the needs of students who require support with their learning, by working with them to provide an enriching learning experience.

The role is to support teachers in all aspects of their role, including, but not limited to:

- Supervision of classes for absent teaching staff.
- Administrative support.
- Working with students on a one-to-one basis.
- Working with students alongside teaching staff and share good practice with SEND team.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
To support teachers in all aspects of their role, including, but not limited to: supervision of classes for absent teaching staff, administrative support, working with students on a one-to-one basis, working with students alongside teaching staff and sharing good practise within the SEND team.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES / MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Operational Management**
- Support the learning of students in lessons under the direction of the teacher.
- Cover lessons for teaching staff as directed - including adapting of work as necessary and effectively managing students in the classroom.
