We're looking for skilled tradespeople experienced in painting and decorating. As a vital member of the team, you will take pride in the repairs, maintenance and planned works of domestic and commercial properties and be able to demonstrate a wide range of trade skills in addition to a primary trade to join our trades team in Battle, working up to 40 hours per week on a self employed basis.

**We want someone who**:

- If you are a genuine all-rounder, with strong practical skills and first-hand knowledge kitchen fitting, carpentry, plumbing, tiling and plastering trades would be great but more predominately in painting and decorating.
- Has plenty of flexibility, as well as a proven ability to diagnose, undertake and complete repairs to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
- Is seen as a people person with excellent customer service skills
- Feels comfortable working within a social housing environment
- Has an outstanding work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard without close supervision
- Has a full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Has their own tools for the job.
- An excellent team player.

Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience in the trade. For highly skilled and experienced Painter and decorator the pay is competitive.

- Self employed

Ability to commute/relocate: East Sussex.

Battle, Hastings, St Leonards, Rye, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Polegate, Lewes, Hailsham, Brighton and Hove.

**Experience**:

- Decorator: 1 year (preferred)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: From £92.26 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
