**Personal Care Assistant (Part-Time)**

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team, providing support to a lovely lady in her own home. This role is perfect for those looking to work within school hours, offering a great work-life balance.

**Location**: Macclesfield, Cheshire

**Pay rate**:£14 - £15ph

**Hours**:Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm (2 hours daily, can be a little flexible)

**About the Role**:
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for the lady you will be supporting. She requires assistance with personal care, meal preparation, light domestic tasks, and values the companionship you will provide. While she is fairly independent and her family supports with medication, your role will ensure she maintains this independence and has the support she needs to enjoy her day-to-day life. As the weather improves, she is keen to spend more time outdoors, either in her garden or going for walks, and you will be an integral part of facilitating these activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support with personal care in a dignified and respectful manner.
- Assist with preparing healthy meals and snacks.
- Undertake light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
- Provide companionship, including engaging in conversation, activities, and outings.
- Accompany her to the garden or for short walks, ensuring her safety and enjoyment of outdoor activities.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a care setting is ideal.
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach.
- Good communication skills, able to engage warmly and effectively.
- A commitment to respecting the privacy and dignity of the individual you will be supporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider support team.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
