**Right at Home - Stockport & Didsbury** are an award winning local homecare provider.

We ensure that our palliative care is delivered sensitively and with dignity, helping to control pain and keep loved ones as comfortable as possible as they approach the end of their life. We stay with our Clients until the end of their journey through life. Our Care Assistants provide specialist palliative care and support for the whole family, allowing them to focus their attention on their loved one and each other.

**Our Palliative Care Assistants** provide round-the-clock companionship, personal care, monitoring and help with medication. We will also support family members by offering respite from daily tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.

**Duties will include**:

- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Personal care
- Administering medication
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
- Shopping, Housekeeping, Meal preparation

**Requirements of a Palliative Care Assistant**:

- Be available for early mornings - evenings - alternate weekends
- Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude

**Areas Covered**:Stockport Central, Edgeley, Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Offerton, Marple, Marple Bridge, Compstall, Mellor, Disley & Romiley and The Heatons & Didsbury.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £12.00-£12.30 per hour
