**HAIR TRANSPLANT SURGEON / TRAINEE**

**Pay**: £120,000 a year, rising to £150,000 within 3 years.

**Shift and Schedule**: 5 days / week

Monday to Friday

**JOB OVERVIEW**

We are seeking a new hair transplant surgeon to join our growing team.

This job is suitable for either an established hair transplant surgeon, or a doctor new to the

industry who is interested in pursuing a career in hair transplants.

For applicants new to hair transplant surgery, full training will be provided.

**LOCATION**

Cardiff city centre + the possibility of working in other clinics as the business expends.

**ABOUT THE CLINIC**

**ROLE**

This role would suit either an established hair transplant surgeon looking for a new position, or a

doctor new to the hair transplant industry (with full training provided).

The duties will involve:
Carrying out consultations with prospective patients to assess their needs and developing a

tailored treatment plan.

Performing all parts of hair transplant surgery, including FUE graft extraction.

Supervising and leading a team of hair transplant technician staff.

Perform post operative follow-up with patients

Respond to out of hours patient concerns by call / text.

Maintaining knowledge in hair transplant surgery by become a member of The British

Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS) and The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS). The surgeon will also be expected to attend the annual conferences of both of these societies in order to maintain their knowledge in the industry.

Collaborate with our clinical and front of house team of to provide exceptional patient care and

support with the flow of patient and surgical bookings

**PERSONAL SPECIFICATION**

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Essential criteria

Current GMC registration with no Approved Practice Setting (APS) restriction

Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience

Desirable criteria

Surgical experience or background would be advantageous.

Experience and / or an in depth knowledge in the field of hair transplant surgery
