Evening Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable cleaner to join our evening team in a school environment. This position is to work weekdays, Monday to Friday for an evening shift from 17:00-20:00 ( Term time + deep clean 52 weeks per year)

*COVER FOR SICK - ZERO HOUR CONTRACT*

£10.42 per hour - Pay Rate to increase 1st April 2024

**Duties**:

- Perform commercial cleaning tasks in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and high use areas. Cleaning Classrooms, Toilets and Hygiene Rooms, Soft Play Rooms, Meeting Rooms, Offices, Stairs and Corridors
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and break rooms
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock supplies as needed
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment

**Skills**:

- Experience in cleaning is preferred but required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols

Uniform and training will be provided.

Continued employment will depend upon vetting checks such as Right to Work in UK and enhanced DBS check.

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
