The Atlas Recruitment Group are currently searching for an experienced Finance Manager, to join a leading Global Defence company.
If you are a recently qualified accountant seeking a first step into industry, this role offers a great opportunity on which to launch your future career. Through business assurance work you will secure a sound understanding of finance operations and thebroader business.
**Finance Manager Main Responsibilities**:
- You will be accountable for the planning, delivery and reporting of a complex programme of audits that examine key areas of financial risk.
- Through audit assignments, you will play a key role in analysing the effectiveness of controls to mitigate risk.
- Identify weaknesses and understand root cause, determining and agreeing value added recommendations to enhance business performance.
- You will lead activities that contribute towards readiness for UK Corporate Reform and support continuous improvement within the business.
- Review of the systems, toolsets and processes to prepare for Corporate Reform and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit work performed.
**Finance Manager Experience required**:
- Finance Qualification (ACCA/ACA)
- Experience in a major accountancy practice
- Internal or External Audit experience
